BREAKINGNEWS: Boko Haram: US places N2.5bn bounty on Shekau’s head
The United States Department of State has put a $7million (N2.5billion) abundance on the head of Boko Haram’s pioneer, Abubakar Shekau.
The Rewards for Justice Program (RJP) declared this in a tweet.
It read: “The United States Department of State offers a compensation up to $7m for data prompting the capture of the fear monger, Abubakar Shekau, pioneer of Boko Haram.”
In June 2013, the US had likewise set an abundance of a similar sum on Shekau.
The Boko Haram pioneer was named an “uncommonly assigned worldwide psychological oppressor” on June 21, 2012, under official request 13224.
Shekau became pioneer of the extremist gathering in 2010, after the passing of Mohammed Yusuf, its previous pioneer.
His whereabouts have stayed obscure for very nearly 10 years.
