Representative Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has affirmed the State’s first coronavirus case.
Okowa, in a tweet on Tuesday night, uncovered the patient is as of now accepting treatment at its confinement place.
Review that the Nigeria Centers for Disease Control (NCDC) had affirmed sixteen new instances of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “Sixteen new instances of #COVID19 have been accounted for in Nigeria: 10 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Delta and 1 in Katsina.”
Affirming the advancement on his Twitter handle, Okowa stated, “tonight, a patient in Delta State tried positive for the #COVID19 infection. This record case is as of now accepting the fundamental treatment at one of our disconnection habitats.
“Tomorrow first thing, I will address our residents on advancements encompassing this case.
“Once more, I ask that all of you resist the urge to panic right now and keep on holding fast to the prudent steps and separation orders that we have set up to guard you and your families. I have no uncertainty at all that we will all overcome this together.”
